Today I completed Alfresco Content Model Manager in preparation for Alfresco Certified Engineer at Alfresco University.
The class seemed well organized, and I actually like managing Content Models from Model Manager better than the xml files. Model Manager seems similar to Documentum Composer providing an IDE to design the ECM model, and even layout the display.
This class itself is a series of slides, and videos, along with a working Alfresco System requiring labs to be completed to reinforce the techniques.
- Model Manager
- Data Types
- Creating a Model
- Creating Aspects
- Creating Layouts to the model and the aspects
- Activating/Updating Model
- Applying the model to content
- Exporting Models
- Importing Models
- Locating Model Usage
Most of the work in these labs were obviously from Share.
